New Car: Pagani Zonda F
The Zonda just got better...

          หลังจากที่มีภาพหลุดออกมาได้สักพักใหญ่ ทาง Pagani Automobile ก็ได้เผยโฉม “Zonda F” ซึ่ง (เข้าใจว่า) เป็น Zonda ที่ถูกปรับปรุงให้ถึงจุดสูงสุด ออกมาให้พวกเราได้ชมกัน...

เช่นเดียวกับ Zonda 7.3, Zonda F ใช้เครื่อง NA ของ Mercedez Benz AMG 12 สูบ 7,291 cc แต่ถูกทำให้เป็น 602 แรงม้าที่ 6,150 รอบ แรงบิดที่ 760 Nm ที่ 4,000 รอบ แถมยังมี Clubsport version ให้เลือกเป็น option โดยรุ่น Clubsport จะมีแรงม้าถึง 650 hp ที่ 6,200 รอบ และแรงบิด 780 Nm ที่ 4,000 รอบ

เรื่องระบบเกียร์นั้น Zonda F ใช้เกียร์ธรรมดา 6 speed และ clutch แบบ Twin-Plate ระบบเบรคเป็น Brembo หน้า 6 piston หลัง 4 piston กับ disc ขนาด 380x34 ที่ด้านหน้า และ 355x34 ที่ด้านหลัง มี Carbon-ceramic brake ขนาด 380x34 หน้า-หลัง ให้เลือกเปลี่ยนเป็น option ยางเป็นของ Michelin รุ่น Pilot Sport 2 ขนาด 255/35/19 กับ 355/30/20



ช่วงล่างของ Zonda F เป็น aluminium อิสระสี่ล้อ พร้อม double A-arm กับ adjustable shocks... ทั้งตัวถัง และ chassis ทำมาจาก carbon-fiber และวัสดุน้ำหนักเบาแทบทั้งสิ้น ทำให้ Zonda F มี dry weight เพียง 1,230 กิโล เท่านั้น

ที่น่าเสียดายก็คือ Zonda F ยังทำเวลา 0-100 ได้ไม่ดีขึ้นจาก Zonda C12 S 7.3 ทั้งๆที่มีแรงม้ามากกว่า แต่นั่นก็ไม่ได้เป็นปัญหาอะไร เพราะ 0-100 ของ Zonda F และ C12 S 7.3 นั้นอยู่ที่ 3.6 วินาที ซึ่งก็เท่าๆกับ Enzo นั่นแหละครับ... มาดู performance ด้านอื่นๆกันบ้าง Zonda F ทำเวลา 0-200 ได้ที่ 9.8 วินาที, 200-0 ได้ที่ 4.4 วินาที และ top speed อยู่ที่ 345 km/h ครับ

Zonda F เตรียมที่จะเปิดผ้าให้เห็นตัวเป็นๆกันครั้งแรกในงาน Geneva Auto Show ที่จะถึงนี้ครับ



ก่อนจะจบข่าว เรามาดูความเป็นมาของ Zonda F กันซักหน่อยดีกว่า... Pagani Zonda เป็นรถที่สร้างขึ้นโดยได้แรงบัลดาลใจมาจาก Juan Manuel Fangio แชมป์ Grand Prix หลายสมัยที่เคยสร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับ Mercedes Benz เป็นอย่างมากในช่วงปี 1954-1958... โดยผู้ก่อตั้ง Pagani Automobile, Horacio Pagani ต้องการที่จะสร้างรถ sport ในอุดมคติของ Fangio ขึ้นมา หรือที่เขาเรียกว่า “Fangio F1” ซึ่ง Fangio บอกเอาไว้ว่า Fangio F1 ต้องเป็นรถที่ โดดเด่นมีเอกลักษณ์, ปลอดภัย และ ใช้เครื่องของ Mercedes Benz เท่านั้น… หลังจากที่ Juan Manuel Fangio เสียชีวิตไป Horacio Pagani ไม่มีความมั่นใจพอที่จะตั้งชื่อรถที่เค้าสร้างขึ้นมาว่า “Fangio F1” เขาเลยตั้งขื่อมันว่า “Zonda” และ Zonda F ก็คือ Zonda ที่สมบูรณ์แบบที่สุด และเป็นรถที่ Horacio Pagani ต้องการจะมอบให้เป็นที่ระลึกแก่ Juan Manuel Fangio บุรุษที่เขาเคารพ...



“Juan Manuel Fangio was much more than a great champion. His accuracy, his uprightness, and his human and technical sensibility were among his qualities, typical of the old-time men, they have been for me, an example and an inspiration source. Very often, I ask myself how something so material, like a drawing or a technical choice, can express and convey the philosophy of such a men. The name of “el coche”, the way he used to call the car, should have been Fangio F1. He followed the project with a strong enthusiasm, according to his ideas the F1 had to be innovative, safe and had to be powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine. He then passed away and as a sign of respect I did not dare to call the car Fangio F1 and I decided to name it Zonda, “el viento de los Andes”. Today, after years spent in a rigorous search for perfection, the result is the Zonda F, a car that I wish to dedicate to Juan Manuel Fangio, the man who has made everything different.”
